By accessing or using Lindy ("Lindy", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Lindy is an AI executive assistant that helps manage your emails, calendar, and meetings through intelligent automation. The service includes:

  • Email classification, prioritization, and draft generation
  • Calendar management and scheduling automation
  • Meeting transcription, summarization, and follow-up
  • iMessage/SMS integration for natural language control
  • Personalization through AI learning of your preferences

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Account Registration

To use Lindy, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the service for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
  • Not use the service to send spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Not impersonate others or provide misleading information

5. Third-Party Integrations

Lindy integrates with third-party services you authorize (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Zoom). By using these integrations:

  • You agree to comply with the third party's terms and privacy policy
  • You grant us permission to access and process data necessary for the service
  • You are responsible for maintaining your authorization with the third party
  • We are not responsible for the third party's service availability or changes

6. AI Features and Limitations

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content (drafts, summaries, etc.) may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • You should review AI outputs before using or sending them
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs
  • The service learns from your preferences but may not always match your expectations
  • We continuously improve our AI models, which may change behavior over time

7. Payment Terms

By subscribing to Lindy:

  • You agree to pay the fees specified for your chosen plan
  • Payments are processed through our payment provider
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or our refund policy
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice

Current pricing:

  • Plus Plan: $49.99/month - Includes 2 email inboxes, email drafts, scheduling, meeting summaries, 100+ integrations, 7-day free trial
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing - Includes team features, SSO, HIPAA compliance, dedicated support

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy:

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds are provided for mid-cycle cancellations

Refund Policy:

  • 7-day free trial: No charge if canceled within 7 days
  • After trial: Refunds considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Contact support@lindy.ai within 30 days for refund requests

9. Intellectual Property

Lindy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your data. We do not claim ownership of your emails, calendar events, or meeting content.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process:

  • Account information (email, name, phone number)
  • Email content for classification and draft generation
  • Calendar data for scheduling
  • Meeting transcripts for summarization
  • Usage patterns to improve the service

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Lindy SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR DATA USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lindy, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the service immediately ceases
  • You can export your data within 30 days
  • After 30 days, your data may be deleted
  • No refunds will be provided for termination due to violation of terms

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the federal or state courts of San Francisco, California.
